Relenta Case Study: ONE Group Pty Ltd
By · CommentsI am a Network Marketing professional – and here is my story with Relenta.
I looked at all the CRM’s out there – claiming to be for SB, but they had TOO MANY features. I am a one gal show. Though I have a sales dept – I AM THE DEPT, though I have a customer service dept – THAT IS ME TOO, I am the Purchasing Dept, the Returns Dept, the Human Resources Dept, the Marketing Dept… (uh, you get the drift)
So I have all the departments, along with their responsibilities – but only one employee. So those programs were prohibitive not only in cost of service, but cost of time to learn them, and cost of buying something beyond what I could ever anticipate to migrate towards in the future. Because no matter how many thousands of people I have under me in my company – they are independent contractors. This will never change. I will always be flying solo in operations.
Before I was blessed to find Relenta, I was using Constant Contact for my email campaigns, and AWeber for my autoresponders, and Outlook for my personal email. Three very different programs, housing virtually ALL THE SAME CONTACTS. Naturally, with AWebers “overly responsible commitment to reduce SPAM” the double opt-in was killing me. My conversions too subscriber were small. And since I believe that when they gave me their email, they anticipated hearing a reply – should overlooking a second opt-in in their email mean they should be ignored? Of course not! (Okay – grumble, grumble… copy, paste over to Constant Contact.)
And then because Constant Contact housed “these” folks, naturally it made more sense to email all campaigns from that source. So all the folks who diligently “clicked to confirm their subscription” had to be moved over there.
Good grief!!
Meanwhile – here I am trying to develop relationships and take them through the stages of lead – member/customer, and all this communication is being housed in Outlook. Which incidentally – became USELESS when I bought a laptop loaded with Vista. Outlook kept crashing… way too many contacts or something. The loading time made my hair turn white (Not to mention my knuckles as I kept pounding on the keyboard.) Then my contacts relationship status changed —— guess what I had to do? Yup, go to Constant Contact and update the campaigns they were on. (All the while thinking, “What the heck am I paying AWeber for? Oh yah… forms with autoresponders)
Then here comes Relenta. WOW! WOW!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything in one place!! Email campaigns, autoresponders, relationship tracking, multiple inbound email service…. and so much more. Since I have integrated Relenta into my business 8 months ago, my life has become so much easier. I can spend my time on what matters most – growing the business!! And most importantly, it is NO LONGER A CHORE to do email marketing – or any of my business for that matter.
It has also allowed me to reach a pinacle of success in my industry… CONSISTENT FOLLOW UP. I get a new team member, it loads them into an autoresponder campaign, a wah-lah – they are being trained by email nearly everday with helpful information. I have even set the feature to recognize when I get a new customer order and it assigns them to my ORDERS folder so I see it right away, assigns them as a Preferred Customer, and kicks out their series of letters. No more forgetting to assign them as a customer, so they are certain to receive promotions and information.
And that is just a couple of the ways I use Relenta.
THANK YOU RELENTA! (Can’t wait to see that calendar program because then I will be finally be able to manage all this time I have left over!)
Affiliate program in the works?? WOW!! Not only will I be able to benefit with a nice side income from putting my own members into Relenta, but I will be able to rest assured they have the best tool in the market to manage their businesses… and their success = my business growth.
Did I say WOW?
Sincerely,
Candy Loya

By · CommentsOur company is selling handicraft directly to customers through our website and to resellers all over the world. Our office is in Bolivia in La Paz.
Prior to January 2009, we managed emails via Dreammail,… We had a lot of troubles, we did lost emails, forgot reply,… Our small team was not able to work efficiency.
We started to work with Relenta in February 2009 with five users.
All the employees do agree with the new way of manage the emails. At last we were able to comment and add activity link to an email.
Quickly we did set up canned responses, group of contact (resellers in each language we use: French, English and Spanish).
We did set up various filters to move specials emails directly to folders.
We are currently integrating Relenta as part as our website : forms of our website send datas to Relenta and contacts are directly created and assigned to great group.
Our backoffice will be soon integrated with relenta as weel to manage new contact of future resellers: a contact will be updated from group “nivel 0 of interest” to group “nivel 5″ … in a very simple way in our backoffice : the work of the sales team will be easier than ever.
Our sales team has to contest email every days about complain, requests of customers: with relenta, the job is done. One employee can do the job of other without any problems.
We will soon active emails campaign.
At last we are very pleased to have moved to Relenta.
Relenta is just great for our small organization and Relenta team are very effective.
Best regards,
Pierre Thollet
Top 10 reasons to use Relenta
By · CommentsHere are the top 10 reasons as posted on Relenta’s blog by Relenta’s head honcho himself, Dmitri Eroshenko…
In no particular order…
- Relenta easily and naturally prevents email mismanagement. The Radicati Group estimates that you will spend 41% of your time in 2009 on managing email. Not if you’re a Relenta user!
- Relenta helps you fight the tyranny of information overload. Research firm Basex created a nifty calculator that shows how much the information overload is costing you (post your results in comments).
- Relenta is the first and only shared email, contact and task management platform. Without Relenta, chances are your team efforts resemble an orchestra without the conductor.
- Relenta is high and to the right. Our value proposition is a killer combination of utility and simplicity that beats both standalone and integrated applications hands down.
- Relenta is GTD-compatible. We are big fans of high-output productivity approaches such as David Allen’s Getting Things Done and Kevin Crenshaw’s Total Relaxed Organization. Other tools aren’t flexible enough.
- You may like Relenta better than Gmail. BTW did you know that according to Google, Gmail sucks 50% more than Outlook? 3.2 million search results vs. 2.2 million.
- Relenta makes productivity contagious. We grew 500% last year without any paid advertising and even without an affiliate program.
- Our customers love us. They really love us.
- Relenta is a holistic solution to your productivity problems. Life is too short for endless life hacks. Hack is a 4-letter word that comes from the German word meaning “someone who makes furniture with an axe.”
- Relenta gives you so much value that even its modest cost becomes irrelevant. Use our simple ROI calculator to see for yourself (post your results in comments).
Listed below are a few popular applications that offer some of Relenta’s features. Before they started using Relenta, most of our customers (not to mention our own staff) managed their communication using a combination of other software. This patchwork approach requires copying and pasting the same data between multiple programs, and endless switching back and forth between multiple windows to gather scattered information on one single contact.
Relenta eliminates all of this busywork so you can focus on running your business and living your life. Check out what our customers say about their before and after experience, or see for yourself with our live demo or free trial.

Highlights Of Mashable’s 2009 Review of Relenta
Quick Pitch: Relenta is an email-based contact and task management platform.
Genius Idea: More often than not our to-dos and notes are associated with the email we send and receive, so wouldn’t it make sense if we could get a thread-like view of tasks, notes, documents, and contacts associated with our email contacts? We think so, and Relenta’s service does just that by wisely focusing on email relationships to automatically link together communication, tasks, notes, and files in a people-centric activity stream.
Why Consider Yet Another Webmail Tool?
By · CommentsHighlights of ReadWriteWeb’s Relenta Review:
Dmitry probably has a hard time getting attention for Relenta. What could be more boring than yet another webmail system? He got my attention, though, by claiming that Relenta would reclaim one hour of my day by making my routine work more productive. From my first look at Relenta, this looks possible (but far from certain — these are still very early days).
The short of it is that Relenta has email at its core, but it is a lot more than email. Actually, any corporate type who has “lived in” Outlook for years already has something like this. Outlook/Exchange is a lot more than email, too, except it is tied to the PC.
SaaS tools have done well by being simple. But integration eventually becomes the pain point. And integration does not simply mean a bit of middleware that integrates data. Nor does it mean a suite with basic levels of integration. There has to be some UI magic that makes it all look simple.
The deciding factor for me was my need for a basic CRM. Would a simple low-cost product like Zoho or SugarCRM do the trick? Or perhaps something hacked together from Gmail and related tools? The reality was that email would remain the core of my daily work, so adding CRM capability would mean having the following:
- Contact manager: contact groups, contact-specific filters, follow-up management.
- Task manager: to-do lists, follow-ups, prioritizing, all around getting-things-done capability.
- Calendar: which is essential to task management.
- Really simple email marketing automation: auto-responders, lists, canned responses.
- File management: quick and easy document attachments.
Relenta claims that “it takes just one click from any screen within Relenta to respond to emails, update contact information, add calendar events, or create to-do lists.”
From a few days of use, it looks like Relenta does this fairly well. It’s not perfect yet, but switching to a new system is like moving into a new home: it has to at least be good enough at first, and you have to be confident that you can rip out the ugly linoleum without destroying the house or your budget.
The developers that came up with Relenta have found a niche that wasn’t quite filled by other current software of its type. Many of the other programs available are much too powerful and needlessly complex for small businesses to use. Even with a smaller number of employees, a small business often still needs something to help facilitate common knowledge of important information. For those that need a helping hand in communication for their small business, Relenta could be just the solution. More information about Relenta can be found at this site.

Why Relenta?
By · CommentsYes You Can… Cut Your Workload in Half
Relenta did
Relenta’s founder, Dmitri Eroshenko, started Relenta as a side project at Clicklab, its sister company. The idea was to take several different types of software that our team used regularly and distill them into one single program. We thought an all-in-one email/CRM/group calendar/mailing list management/task management app might help reduce busywork.
As it turned out, by interlinking all communication activity (including email messages, call notes, reminders, follow ups, tasks, voice mails, meeting transcripts) between our team and each customer, and making the whole set of information available to all employees who interact with any given account, we found ourselves getting twice as much done in half the time.
Get things done
Speaking of getting things done, we’re big fans of David Allen’s Getting Things Done (GTD) principle. Here’s how we can help implement it in your business: With Relenta, you can get pending tasks, important facts and other bits and pieces of information out of your head by pouring it all into a self-organizing system.
Relenta automatically aggregates all data associated with any relationship into a chronological activity stream, giving you at-a-glance knowledge of where you stand. This way, your mind is freed from the job of remembering everything that you need to do, and can focus on actually doing those things.
Less is more
Do you hate copy and pasting the same data between multiple software programs? Relenta puts an end to repetitive data entry. In fact, when someone sends you an email inquiry or fills out a form on your website, Relenta can automatically add them to your contact database. You won’t have to lift a finger!
Join the One Click Revolution!
Relenta is designed so that once you log into the system, it takes no more than one click to perform any of your routine daily tasks (such as read/write/search for emails, schedule calendar events, assign tasks to co-workers, create/edit to-do lists, etc). This is possible because Relenta isn’t an email client with CRM icing on the cake, or a task manager that’s integrated with email. It simply IS all of the above.
Here are some highlights from Techcrunch’s review of Relenta CRM:
Relenta is an all-in-one email/customer relationship management/group calendar/mailing list management/task management application that displays activity in a chronological stream for users. Relenta’s CRM doesn’t seem to be offering different services than other big name CRMs, such as Salesforce, Zoho or SugarCRM, but Relenta’s all-in-one package offers several different types of software in one application. Small businesses who are trying to cut costs (though in this economy, all businesses are being mindful of software expenses) could find this product particularly useful. Relenta’s monthly rate is $25 per user with an allowance of 2500 contacts per user. Users can also add contacts for an additional fee.
It appears that customers are satisfied
with Relenta’s product from its customer feedback site. And like we predicted, most of Relenta’s customer base draws from small businesses. Relenta’s price seems right nd customers (many of who used Salesforce previously) feel that Relenta’s customer service rivals those of the bigger CRM providers.
Relenta Case Study: CarbSmart Inc
By · CommentsFor 6 years, I looked for an easy to use, integrated system for managing my customer service emails. We run 4 websites with 4 different customer service email addresses and it was a pain to use Microsoft Outlook to manage the various accounts. It was also impossible to monitor/manage the customer service functions remotely since the email accounts were tied to one desktop computer. I could have used a webmail account while out of the office but that would mean that any email sent from webmail would not easily be saved in my regular Sent mail folders.
I tried Relenta in 2006 and loved using it from day one. All four email accounts are easy to manage and the service keeps track of incoming emails by account. Since the service is web-based, I can check on emails from anywhere in the world.
Now we have started to use Relenta’s CRM and Mailing List features. We send out different emails to our wholesale email database based on whether they are existing customer or prospects. We store the shell of the email as a template and change the message with each campaign.
Relenta is an easy-to-use, affordable CRM system. What more could you want?
